Gratitude is the quietest way to change your life. It is the alchemy that turns routine mornings into sacred moments. Beyond just a “mood boost,” gratitude is the soil where hope grows, fueling a life that is as healthy as it is happy.
My gratitude journal is my sanctuary. It is where I store the “tiny treasures” that might otherwise slip through my fingers: the warmth of Earl Grey against the rich navy of my peacock-etched porcelain mug, the gold of a fading sunset. These aren’t just details; they are the substance of a life well-lived.
When the world feels loud and heavy, this practice becomes my North Star. It reminds me that even in the shadows of 2025, there was light worth finding. Today, I’m sharing my annual retrospective: My 2025 Year in Gratitude.
I invite you to slow down with me. Start your own list today. It doesn’t need to be grand; it just needs to be true. Let’s keep our cups full, together.
2025: The Year of Audacious Visibility
The year began with a directive set to music: Gladys Knight’s “I Hope You Dance.” It was a soulful reminder that when life offers the choice to sit it out or step onto the floor, the only path to growth is to move. I realized that “dancing” wasn’t about the perfect step but the courage to be seen and the faith to trust the music of my own lived experience.
In 2025, my “becoming” was a relentless evolution. Both my coaching and blogging journeys demanded a beautiful, difficult irony: I had to do exactly what I ask of my clients. I had to own my story before I felt ready, step into visibility before I felt confident, and take risks while the path was still shrouded in mist.
Growth asks for courage first, clarity second. We don’t wait for certainty; we move, and certainty meets us on the road.
As I look back on this tapestry of 90 unforgettable moments, I am honouring a recognition that exists outside of job titles or metrics. It is an anchor in the truth that I am resilient, capable, and already in motion. I invite you into this sanctuary of my heart: a place of love, hope, and radical trust.
I now know that to thrive in 2026, I must build from my own truth. Here is the snapshot of a year that taught me the audacity to lead from lived experience.
The Sanctuary of Health
Life remains my primary blessing, but this year, that gratitude runs deeper. My family and loved ones remained healthy, whole, and safe throughout 2025. In a world that can feel unpredictable, being well is the ultimate luxury.
I am endlessly grateful for the vitality that allows us to move, breathe, and dance through another year together. I dedicate Never Gonna Not Dance Again by P!NK
Mercies in Motion: Safe Journeys
Whether traveling near or far, we were granted the mercy of safe returns. Each journey reminded me that while the world is wide and full of wonder, the greatest gift is the sanctuary of a warm home waiting at the end of the road. We traveled, we explored, and we returned to the familiarity of our own four walls, hearts overflowing with gratitude for every mile protected.
19 Years: The Sweetness of a Peaceful Life
Nineteen years of marriage, and yet our “becoming” together continues to evolve. When we got engaged in June 2004, I couldn’t have imagined the depth of the journey ahead: from our registry in 2005 to our white wedding blessing in 2006, it has been a masterclass in grace. Our love has been a testament to commitment, even in times of uncertainty.
We have moved beyond mere milestones into a beautiful, steady rhythm. To honour our rhythm, I dedicate “Steady Love” by India.Arie to us; it perfectly captures the consistent, grounded devotion we’ve built. I am mindful that this rhythm isn’t accidental; it still requires the “hard work” of choosing each other through every season of change. As life throws its inevitable challenges our way, my prayer is that we continue to meet them with our greatest weapons: peace, a sense of humour, unshakeable faith, and laughter that echoes through our halls.
To my husband: I find sweetness in the quiet, everyday moments we share. I refuse to take a single one for granted. You are my home, and after over two decades of walking side-by-side, I am still so glad it’s you.

To My Daughters: The Audacity to Belong to Yourself
To my daughters, as you transition into young adulthood: always remember that you belong to yourself first before you belong to anyone else. I am so proud of your thoughtfulness and the strength you show in never letting yourselves be wronged.
This year, I dedicated two blog posts to the magic of watching you grow, and the message remains the same: we trust you implicitly. Carry our love into every space you enter, and remember the words of Maya Angelou; bring your people with you, everyone who has ever loved you. You never walk alone; you are backed by a legacy of love and the unwavering pride of your parents.
The Pillars of Grace: Our Mothers
Strength, faith, and unconditional love: these are the legacies of my mother and mother-in-law. To honour the women who shaped us, I dedicate “When God Made You My Mother” by Riley Roth. Their lives are the blueprints for the grace I strive to carry in my own journey.
The Gift of Kinship
There is no comfort like the presence of family. This year, my heart was full as we hosted my brothers and sister here in the UK: visits that reminded me that no matter how far we roam, our shared stories remain the melody of my life. To honour these roots, I dedicated two blog posts in 2025 to the power of siblings and family, exploring the unique bond that keeps us anchored. To my siblings: I dedicate “What’s Your Country Song” by Thomas Rhett to you. Having you here was a beautiful reminder that no matter how much we evolve or where we travel, we always have a place where we truly belong.e truly belong.
Honouring the Matriarch: An 85th Milestone
Celebrating my mother-in-law’s 85th birthday was more than an event; it was a living tribute to a life marked by an open heart and unwavering service. From a special Mass in her honour to a memory-filled party, witnessing her impact was nothing short of a miracle.
The planning was a joy in itself: choreographing family performances to “Nnem Nnem Oh“ and “Jerusalema,” reconnecting with old friends, and turning every meeting into a blend of laughter and legacy. She is a reminder that the richest lives aren’t always the loudest; they are felt deeply in the communities they build and the joy they spark.
The Power of Connection
A celebration of this magnitude is a village effort. I am so grateful for the incredible vendors who partnered with us, bringing our vision to life and expanding my own professional network in the process. Their craft helped us turn a milestone into a masterpiece.
VCC Blog: Two Years of Defying Gravity
My blog is now two years old- a milestone that feels both surreal and hard-earned. Year 2 was about visibility, engagement, and reach, and it delivered beyond my wildest dreams. I dedicate “Golden” by KPOP Demon Hunters to this journey.
I remember the day I launched, wondering if anyone would ever read my words; now, when I look at my Google Analytics, I am speechless at the global community that has found a home here. My growth has been a messy, zigzagging jungle through a tunnel, yet I will never give up. My VCC word for 2026? YES. Yes to daring, yes to dreaming, and yes to dancing.

Reaching Blogging Milestones: A Global Connection
In 2025, my “becoming” went global. I watched in awe as the VCC community expanded to 11,832 active users and 23,997 page views spanning 115 countries. My gratitude knows no bounds as I realize my voice is traveling across oceans through direct visits, organic searches, and video. I have fallen in love with the storytelling found in Google Search Console and GA4 analytics; these aren’t just numbers, they are a compass helping me position my message with more clarity and impact.
The Art of SEO and Discovery
This was the year the digital world started talking back. My commitment to SEO finally took flight, as Google, Bing, and even eco-conscious engines like Ecosia began recognizing VCC. I stepped into the professional light on LinkedIn, and my Facebook strategy is already being primed for a 2026 launch. Seeing my content gain traction across such diverse platforms has been the ultimate validation of taking that initial leap of faith into the unknown.
The Pinterest Game-Changer
Mastering Pinterest was a “Done Dream” for 2025. Investing in Mike Futia’s Pinterest-first mindset was enlightening, but completing Carly Campbell’s Pinterest Strategies 2025 was epic for me. A personal highlight was reaching out to Carly for a direct review; her concise feedback allowed me to tweak my strategy, resulting in views that truly skyrocketed. It was a dream come true to learn from a mentor I had manifested for my Q1 goals, proving that when we seek excellence, the right teachers appear.
Krav Maga: The Student’s Heart
Growth isn’t just digital; it’s physical. This year, I started Krav Maga with my second daughter under an incredible coach I had searched for for a long time. This practice has been a humbling reminder that to be the best version of ourselves, we must remain “students of life.” It is grueling and hard, but as we lean into courage and confidence over this journey (it’s been 8 weeks and counting), I am learning to fight for my own strength. It is a powerful experience to build this resilience side-by-side with my daughter.

Full-Circle Faith: A Legacy at Wickenden Manor
Watching my daughters attend their first spiritual retreat at Wickenden Manor was a profound, full-circle moment. I attended retreats at this very center while pregnant with each of them, and to see them walk those same grounds with their friends was a testament to God’s greatness.
As they navigate young adulthood, I share these pillars of wisdom with them: If you can talk, learn to correct misunderstandings; if you can hear, learn to listen. Do not flee from problems out of fear or embarrassment, and avoid the waste of unnecessary back-and-forth. Be decisive.
Practice moderation; not just in food, but in all things, to temper the mind. You can go as far as you want in this life; may you always carry the audacity to finish what you start and move forward with grace.
Cultivating The Abundance Journal
Creating and finalizing my first lead magnet, The Abundance Journal Prompts, was a labour of love that I use to challenge my own growth daily. I drafted the first version in January 2025 and refined it in October to coincide with the launch of my first formal course on Abundance. It is a joy to see these prompts now serve as a bridge for others seeking a more intentional, grateful life.
Conquering the “Tech Dinosaur” Within
Completing Mike Futia’s Email List Building course was enlightening, but the implementation was my greatest hurdle. Anyone who knows me knows I have been a “tech dinosaur,” and setting up Thrive Leads and ConvertKit took immense patience. I am deeply grateful to my husband and sister for standing by me as I wrestled with the back-end of this business. Their support turned a daunting technical mountain into a conquered peak.
The Birth of the VCC Newsletter
The official launch of my email subscription and weekly newsletter was a community effort. To my inner circle who tirelessly tested links and gave feedback: thank you. This system; developing lead magnets and automating through ConvertKit, has allowed me to move from a “blog” to a “brand,” fostering a direct line of communication with the hearts of my readers.
From 6 to a Movement: A Masterclass in Engagement
On February 7, 2025, I launched my email list with just 6 subscribers. Within 24 hours, that number tripled, and it hasn’t stopped growing since. Today, I maintain a 50.32% average open rate across the 49 newsletters published so far: a statistic that signals deep trust, relevance, and thought-leader level performance. As my 50th newsletter prepares to go out this Friday, I am speechless with gratitude.
To every VCC reader who signed up and stayed: you are the reason I continue to dare, dream, and do. I will work hard to show up more in 2026.

Strategic Shifts: The Power of Pinterest
Listening to the podcast featuring Carly Campbell and Tony Hill was a mind-bending experience that shifted the trajectory of my blog. Discovering Tony Hill’s “Pin Clicks” strategy was a revelation, providing the missing pieces to my Pinterest puzzle. These insights have already changed the course of VCC, and I have officially added his Pinpoints course to my “Dream List” for Q1 2026.
The Heart of Service: A DofE Milestone
A deeply proud moment this year was watching our second daughter begin her volunteering journey with Oxfam as part of her Duke of Edinburgh Award. Dropping her off and picking her up on that first day was a reminder that service to others is one of the most fulfilling and life-affirming paths one can take. Seeing her continue this commitment fills me with immense joy.
Audacious Visibility: Launching on Socials
In 2025, I finally found the courage to stop “thinking about it” and started posting on the VCC social media accounts. From Facebook and Instagram to YouTube and TikTok, I have embraced the messy process of learning and experimenting. My focus is now on implementing the right strategies and improving engagement, with a primary goal for 2026 being mastery of short-form video and becoming truly comfortable in front of the camera.
Owning My Worth: The “Work With Me” Page
Launching my “Work With Me” page was an inspiring lesson in professional pride. For the first time, I showcased my rates and services with confidence, moving away from the shadows and into a space of clear, commercial visibility. This page will continue to evolve in 2026 as I open my doors to even more exciting collaborations and activities.
The VCC Shop: First Fruits of Digital Labour
A major 2025 milestone was the official launch of the VCC Digital Shop, featuring my very first course. This is just the beginning; the foundation is laid, and I am brimming with excitement for the digital products and projects currently in development for 2026. Transforming my expertise into accessible digital assets has been a transformative shift for my brand.
A Bronze Medal Achievement
Our second daughter achieved a Distinction in her LAMDA Level 3 Certificate (Acting Grade 6 Solo), earning her Bronze Medal. Her hard work and persistence paid off beautifully, and it was a moment of pure parental pride. She even chose to use one of her award-winning monologues to audition for the National Youth Theatre: a bold step into her own “audacious visibility.”
The Power of Narrative: The Six Triple Eight
Watching The Six Triple Eight, directed by Tyler Perry, was a profound experience for my daughters and I. This incredible true story of Black women serving in WWII reinforced my belief that we must own our narratives and record them for posterity. It is a vital watch for every Black girl, and I was honoured to include this recommendation in my International Women’s Day post. If we don’t tell our stories, who will?
The Rhythm of Faith: Daily Psalms
There is a quiet, unshakeable strength found in our family prayer. Praying together and reciting our favorite psalms daily has become more than a ritual; it is a profound blessing and a source of spiritual endurance for me. It anchors our home in a restless world.
Skyline Romance: Valentine’s at Sky Garden
Valentine’s Day was marked by a breathtaking date night with my husband at the Sky Garden. Surrounded by lush greenery and the twinkling lights of the London skyline, it was a beautiful moment to pause, celebrate our love, and enjoy the “interesting and peaceful” life we have built together.

Artistic Saturdays at the Wharf
Our second daughter joined the National Saturday Club, a journey that took us through twelve consecutive Saturday mornings at Trinity Buoy Wharf and Cockpit Studios. While she immersed herself in her craft, I found my own sanctuary in a cozy cafe: the one with a tree growing out of a car. With a cup of tea and a pastry in hand, those hours spent reading and writing blog posts became some of my most cherished moments of creative solitude.
Creative Expansion: The Affordable Art Fair
Visiting the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea was an eye-opening experience. Invited by an artist friend who is also a coach, it sparked a dream of seeing our own daughter’s work in such a space. We asked countless questions, validating a core truth I often share: you can be so many things when you have the audacity to flex your creative muscle.
A Miracle in Motion: The National Youth Theatre
In April, our second daughter’s hard work and persistence culminated in a dream realized: she was accepted into the National Youth Theatre. From her diligent preparation and video submission to the ecstatic moment the recall email arrived, the entire process was nothing short of a miracle. I am incredibly proud of her journey, and I look forward to sharing a dedicated blog post this year, on how both my daughters navigated their way into this prestigious institution.
Empowering the Next Generation
Attending the “Legally Empowered: Girls Leading Change” event at Fieldfisher LLP with my eldest daughter was a transformative highlight. Surrounded by nearly 100 young women, we listened to eight extraordinary solicitors share raw, resilient journeys. This experience inspired a blog post on building a better future for girls, which reinforced the message that change begins with a single, audacious voice.
The Power of the First Step
I recently revisited and re-edited my very first blog post from November 2023. I remember the terror of clicking “publish,” wondering if anyone beyond my family would care. Reviewing it 15 months later, I was moved to see it has become a “big hit.” The lesson? Keep dancing, keep writing, and trust the process.
Life-Affirming Kinship
I spent a deeply blessed time with my brother and some maternal cousins just before the Easter break. These moments of connection are the soul’s fuel, reminding me that family time is the most life-affirming investment we can make.

The Great London Egg Hunt
We took to the streets of London for the Big Egg Hunt, a joyous adventure that turned into my 6th most popular post of 2025. This simple family memory resonated so deeply that it became a digital milestone: it was the first post to introduce me to Google Discover within Google Search Console. Seeing my lived experience surface on global feeds was incredibly validating and drove a massive surge of traffic to VCC.
Matilda on Stage
Watching our second daughter perform in her school’s production of Matilda was pure magic. Cheering from the audience, I was struck by her confidence and the sheer joy of the experience.
Mythology and Movie Nights
Watching the Percy Jackson series became a masterclass in Greek Mythology, led by my daughters. Their insights into casting diversity, fandom responses, and dysfunctional gods were humbling. These movie nights are more than entertainment; they are a window into the brilliant minds of my teens, and I am already excited for Season 2. I am looking forward to watch the full season at the end of January 2026 for family movie night. It’s interesting that due to this, Cyprus is on my mind as a travel destination.
Lights, Camera, Visibility: My First Interview
I took a massive leap into the unknown by recording my first video interview. A six-hour filming day resulted in features for Authority Magazine and video deep-dives into books that shaped me, like The Power of Moments and The Power of Your Subconscious Mind.
Ancient Wonders: The Tutankhamun VR Experience
Hubby and I stepped back in time during a date night at the Tutankhamun VR experience. It was an immersive journey that left us both in awe; and officially placed Egypt at the top of our travel bucket list for the future.
Habemus Papam: A Momentous Faith Milestone
On May 8, 2025, we witnessed history with the election of Pope Leo XIV. As the fourth Pope of my lifetime, this was a momentous day for my faith. It was a powerful reminder of God’s love and the enduring strength of our global community.
500 Hours of Transformation
To every client I coached in 2025: thank you. Working with you has been a profound blessing that allowed me to surpass 500 coaching hours. Your growth fuels my own, and I am honoured to walk beside you on your paths to clarity. I look forward to working with more clients in 2026.

A Day at the Races: Ascot 2025
I headed to Ascot with a wonderful group of women; including my sisters-in-law, niece, and daughters. We had an absolute blast, proving that life is meant to be celebrated in style and good company.
The Intentionality of Nature
Our family “gratitude walks” led us to discover even more beautiful parks this year. I am grateful for the intentionality we’ve brought to our time together outdoors, and I am praying for even more hikes and wanderings in 2026.
Deep Dives into Happiness
My second day of filming focused on a deep dive into The Happiness Experiment. Exploring the science and soul of joy on camera was an incredible experience that challenged me to embody the very abundance I teach.
A Journey of Faith: Confirmation
A huge milestone this year was our second daughter receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. Surrounded by our community of family and Godparents, it was a joyous witness to her spiritual growth. We are so incredibly proud of the young woman of faith she is becoming.

Wickenden Manor: The Mid-Year Reset
My annual spiritual retreat at Wickenden Manor provided the “refresh, reset, and renew” I desperately needed. Accompanied by two incredible women – a cousin and a sister inlaw, the quiet reflection and prayer helped me recommit to my service to others. Those walks and talks in the East Sussex countryside were a true blessing to my soul.

Seeing The Devil Wears Prada with my sister and daughters was theatrical magic. From Gregg Barnes’s stunning costumes to Matt Henry’s showstopping performance of “Dress Your Way Up,” the visuals were breathtaking. LinkedIn: From 180 to 700+
Visibility is a muscle. I started 2025 with 180 LinkedIn connections and ended with over 700. It’s a testament to the “grind” and the reality that when you show up consistently, the world starts to take notice. 2026 will be remarkable.
The Wisdom of Disappointment
I am strangely grateful for every “no” and every missed opportunity in 2025. Each disappointment served as a sharp, clarifying mirror, showing me exactly how much I truly wanted those dreams. Even in moments when I wavered, the acute sting of a lost opportunity revealed my true desires.
I am proud of the courage I showed; allowing myself to feel the pain, perhaps even crying through it, but always choosing to move forward. These moments forced me to do the deep work in my subconscious mind, refining my planning and dreaming so that I am even better prepared for the “YES” that awaits me in 2026.

The stunning landscapes and quiet luxury provided the perfect backdrop for reflection. We’ll definitely be back.

130 Blog Posts and Counting

Floral Inspiration at the Saatchi Gallery

Kindness and Compassion: The North Star
In 2025, my guiding principles were Kindness and Compassion, and they remain my North Star as I enter 2026. These values were not just outward-facing; they were the tools that helped me set and maintain healthy boundaries.
They gave me the permission to release, with grace, anything or anyone that did not nurture, challenge, or inspire my growth. By being kind to myself first, I found the strength to hold space only for what truly aligns with my mission.

Bold, Brilliant & Unstoppable: Empowered To Lead

The Strength of the Village: Delegating with Grace
This year, my kitchen remained quieter than I would have liked; I neither cooked as much as I planned nor baked at all – a passion I am determined to reconnect with in 2026. However, I am overwhelmingly grateful to the caterers who stepped in when I needed them most. Whether for major celebrations or daily sanity-saving meals, they allowed me to stay kind to myself during overwhelming seasons.
To one of my cousins, who prepared my favorite Nigerian soups and gave me the gift of intentional time: thank you. You all made it look like I had it all together when I truly didn’t. It takes a village to build a vision, and for mine, I am forever grateful.
Conquering the Camera: The Jump to Video
Personal growth in 2025 continued on the digital path as I pushed myself to master video editing. Using the Clipchamp app, I transitioned from words on a page to stories in motion. To say I was terrified of posting my first videos on LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok is an understatement; but I finally “got over myself” and hit publish. The reward has been a deeper, more personal connection with all of you. There will be more videos in 2026!
Canva, Connection, and Full-Circle Moments

Affiliate Mastery: Another Piece of My Blogging Puzzle
In the final weeks of Q4 2025, I completed a major goal: Michelle Schroeder-Gardner’s Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Course. It was the last course on my 2025 “Dream List,” and it has fundamentally shifted how I view the sustainability of my blog. The perspectives and insights she taught have given me a fresh lens for 2026, and I am ready to apply these strategies to elevate VCC to new monetization heights.
Navigating Life: The Power of the Praise Report
Attending my first Navigating Life Empowerment Class with Claudine Reid MBE was a profound confirmation of why this gratitude journalling is so essential. Hearing a room full of women own their wins and commit to radical gratitude was electric. Claudine’s challenge: to compile a “Praise Report” of 100 wins, is the exact fuel needed to anchor a positive mindset for 2026. Reconnecting After Three Decades: The Magic of “Chakam!”
I had the honour of serving as the MC for a Christmas dinner party with the “old girls” of my secondary school; a night that felt like stepping into a living history book. From meeting the trailblazing ladies of the pioneer set to connecting with those who walked our hallways long after me, it was an incredible celebration of our shared heritage.
Reconnecting with women I hadn’t seen in over 30 years, and forging new bonds with sisters I’d never met, proved that time is no match for our common roots. The laughter and memories shared that night were a powerful reminder that the bonds of our youth remain a timeless source of joy. We even birthed a new word that night – Chakam! – a spirit of sisterhood I can’t wait to carry into our 2026 events.
The Strength of My Village
To my friends, siblings, cousins, and everyone who stepped up in my life this year: may God bless you beyond your dreams. I am especially grateful for the cousins who are always just a phone call away. Our catch-ups and meet-ups were a highlight of 2025, and I am looking forward to even more intentional gatherings in 2026.
Service and Song: A Christmas Blessing
The beautiful Christmas concert and readings at our church were made even more special by my two daughters’ active participation. Watching them give their time and talent in service to others is deeply edifying. It leaves me incredibly optimistic for their futures – thank you, God, for blessing them and all the youth who lead with their hearts.
The Most Powerful Question: “What Do You Want?”
In 2025, I committed to a new level of listening by asking a deceptively simple question: “What do you want?” The outcomes were staggering. Listening to the raw, honest desires of others – and myself – became a catalyst for my most vulnerable writing on fears and failures. This practice has been a masterclass in empathy, teaching me that when we have the audacity to name our desires, we create the space for them to manifest. This is not just a query; it is a quest, and this questioning follows me with bold intentionality into 2026.
The Power of Tea: A Daily Ritual of Grace
If you have followed my journey at all, you know that my love for tea is unparalleled. It is more than a beverage; it is a ritual of stillness. Whether it’s the first cup of Earl Grey in my botanical crane mug or a soothing blend during a late-night writing session, tea is the companion to my creativity. It is the “pause” that allows me to find the rhythm for the next “dance.”
I dedicated a full newsletter to this passion in 2025, and now, I am putting a dream out into the universe: one day, I will be an ambassador for a tea company (or two!). I am ready to blend my love for the brew with my love for the brand.
The Library of Growth: 2025 Reads
My bookshelf this year was a mixture of strategy and soul. From the timeless tactics of “The Art of War“ and “The Prince“ to a profound exploration of “Friendship“ – a theme that inspired its own dedicated blog post; each page sharpened my perspective. I delved deep into “The Happiness Experience“ and returned to several old favorites, highlighting even more gems than before.
A true standout was reading an incredible book on Entrepreneurship written by a dear friend; seeing a peer’s expertise bound in print was both inspiring and a powerful call to action for my own work. You can visit my VCC bookshelf for a closer look at the titles that shaped my year.
A Celebration of Love and Simplicity
I had the joy of attending a dear friend’s wedding alongside my daughters. Witnessing the couple’s radiant simplicity and genuine love was deeply endearing. Beyond the fun and the dance floor, we met new acquaintances and left with our hearts full, reminded that love; in its purest form, is the greatest celebration of all.
Recorded Wisdom: Enriching Conversations that Matter
This year was defined by profound dialogues with inspiring individuals who challenged my thinking and expanded my horizons. One of those conversations was key in making me understand what themes was driving traffic to my blog and helped me make the shift to crafting posts that lean towards “eductainment” and “infotainment”. I am working on improving this so that more casual visitors will become returning readers and subscribers.
I am committed to honouring these enriching exchanges in 2026 by taking the leap into recorded media; publishing these conversations and insights across my social media channels and the VCC blog. These will be more than interviews; they will be “exchanges of light” that I am honoured to share with my community as we learn and grow together.
Collaborative Spirits: A Christmas Connection
I shared an incredible Christmas dinner and hangout with a coaching colleague whose presence in my life has been truly providential. Each of our sessions this year has blessed and expanded me. As we look toward 2026, I am filled with anticipation; this is our year for scaling mountains collaboratively and reaching new heights together.
A True Clan Affair: Christmas with Family
My sister-in-law hosted a Christmas that was a beautiful celebration of family, culture, and connection. It was a true “clan affair”: we ate, laughed, and danced to vibrant Nigerian songs, filling the house with joy. Watching the children participate in our traditions was a particular blessing.
While Everybody Loves Christmas by Jenifa and crew is still our upbeat family favorite, “These Are the Special Times” by Celine Dion perfectly captured the warmth and gratitude I felt for the season. Looking ahead to next year, we’re planning to head out for brunch in the sun; I can’t wait!

Sacred Spaces: Marie & Rosetta at the Rose Theatre
I am deeply grateful for the experience of watching Marie & Rosetta at the Rose Theatre, Kingston. Intimate, soulful, and magnetic, the performances by Beverley Knight and Ntombizodwa Ndlovu were rich with humour and raw truth.
Watching the story of Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Marie Knight felt like entering a sacred space where ambition and faith collide. It was a powerful reminder of two women claiming space in a world that didn’t readily make room for them. I am thrilled this production is heading to the West End in 2026; it is a story that deserves to be celebrated for the way it carries legacy forward.
Self-Care: The Fuel for My Mission
With self-care as my superpower, I paced myself, planned with precision, and mastered the delicate art of letting go. I am profoundly grateful for the incredible women; the therapists, stylists, and wellness experts, who enrich my well-being with their specialized skills. More importantly, I learned to navigate the “thin line” between self-care and self-centeredness.
I now understand that true self-care is oriented toward replenishment for service. I don’t retreat to hide; I retreat to recharge so that I can show up for my community and my big vision with a resilient mind and an overflowing heart.
The Audacity of Intentional Space
I recognized that a big vision requires a specific environment to thrive. I became fiercely intentional about the spaces I chose to inhabit, seeking out only those that empowered and inspired my growth. By curating my surroundings and the company I keep, I protected my peace and fortified my resilience. In 2025, I learned that where you show up determines how you grow, and I am choosing to stand only where the light is bright.
The December Surprise: Unexpected Collaborations
As 2025 drew to a close, December brought three incredible and unexpected collaborations. These opportunities arrived like early Christmas gifts, carrying with them a promise of growth and impact. I cannot wait to unveil the results of these partnerships in 2026; the groundwork is being laid, and the harvest is coming.

What Does 2026 Have in Store for Me?
I don’t have all the answers yet, but that’s the heart of the adventure. I am stepping into 2026 with an overflowing heart and a spirit anchored in the transformative experiences of this past year. If 2025 was about finding my rhythm, 2026 is about the performance.
My focus is sharp: I am deepening my connection with you – my audience – and amplifying the VCC message across new horizons. This year, I am committing to the “Rule of 11” – intentionally showing up across media channels to ensure our shared message of growth and gratitude takes deep root. You will see me in webinars, on podcasts, and at speaking events, practicing the art of being seen and heard.
And as I show up, I am doing so with a new, steel-clad intentionality. In 2026, I will continuously build leverage that pays me for the future, whether there is applause or not. I have learned and understood that my value is not up for debate.
I will no longer chase validation from systems that benefit from minimizing my contributions. Instead, I will negotiate every opportunity as if my wins will be reframed; protecting my brilliance and ensuring my seat at the table is one of power, not just presence.
To my incredible VCC community spanning 115 countries and counting: Thank you for being part of this global village. I wish you all abundant good fortune and a long, vibrant life. May you stay healthy, remain safe, always find a reason to be happy, and move through the world with an audacious “YES” in your soul.
2025 was a revelation, a journey of 90 wins that brought me to this very moment. But I truly believe the best is yet to come.
2026: I am ready for you.
A “Praise Report” is more powerful when it’s shared. As we close the door on 2025 and look toward the limitless potential of 2026, I want to hear from you:
- What was your standout “win” this year? Let’s celebrate it together in the comments!
- What is one dream you are putting out into the universe for 2026?
Thank you for being a VCC reader.
Here’s to life, love, and the magic of what we will build next.
